Surely you aren't implying that you are the ONLY tape cleaner on race nights???
Erm that wasnt my falcon, that was my gp12 saloon!
That's not what I was told!
Well the only one who cleans your lane when your practising.
Was that part of your cunning plane for 2008. Still the thought was there and my car went so much better with the clean tape!!
I was dogged with "new car" teething problems. She (the car that is) was running on too high a mix of electric and air & my armature wasn't spinning up at the the right time. A "good sounding" excuse i'd say!
No I was referring to the incident prior to the 'A' final when Phil suggested I was only cleaning my tapes around the top bend, I translated this as a request to clean his tape which I duly did.
As you may have seen Phil then drove his car flat out into my finger !! His car came off worse than my finger - next time I'll stick to cleaning only my tapes !!
( For a Falcon Jody's car looked good, not going to comment now I know it was a Gp12 :-) )
