My big idea......

One Sunday afternoon do you think we could lay out four 00 guage tracks and run a four man team race ?

I all for this idea (no surprise there then!). We could handicap the quicker people with carriages and penialise racers that come into the station late. Then if we all get upset we could just go on strike for an hour! Phil your a genius.

Good idea!
I've still got Reg's old super-quick 'Schools' Class loco - when I first learned the black art of motor rewinding, long before slot racing appeared!
Most of you lot weren't even a twinkle in your father's eyes then!!

(and I've still got Reg's railway layout that we were building in 1965 and got abandoned when he found slot racing)

Those were the days......

Robin , i cant help but feel that you need to get out more and also stop spending quite so much time with stuart as i think he is starting to corrupt you!

Jody, Have no fear its getting warmer therefore the out doors is now more appealing and i shall venture out. Stuart can't corrupt that which is already warped!

1965....now that was a good year, something tells me Mr Church that you wouldn't have had too much time for such pursuits that year !!! ( or perhaps shouldn't have would be more appropriate ? )
